DUMAGUETE to BACOLOD Ceres Schedule and Fare

I worked in Dumaguete for 3 years before transferring to Cebu and during that time, I always took the Ceres bus from Dumaguete to Bacolod whenever I went home. I wasn’t blogging back then so I wasn’t able to keep a record of the bus schedules. But thanks to my good friend Patrick, who also showed me how to order from the McDonald’s Secret Menu, he was able to secure a copy of the schedule during his work trip in the city. So I wouldn’t have been able to write this article without his help. The bus schedules below are only for trips from Dumaguete to Bacolod, and not from Bacolod to Dumaguete. That may come in the future.

The Dumaguete Ceres Bus Terminal

The total travel time from Dumaguete to Bacolod is 6 hours which includes a short stop at the Mabinay bus terminal. The total fare for the air-conditioned bus is ₱380.00 while the non-airconditioned is ₱295.00. I would prefer taking the air-con bus because the trip can get a bit dusty and windy. But if you prefer the open air and to save money, then feel free to choose the non-aircon.
